Lilac + Green Wedding Color Trends 2018

Deep rich color combination of Lilac and

Green is one of our favorites. Lilac is a

color that is a pale violet tone described

as dark mauve or light purple. Soft

shades of lilac will add a subtle romance

to your big day, and a rosy mauve will

up the sophistication factor. Incorporating

Lilac in dresses, desserts, pillows and

accessories along with floral arrangements

to capture a garden feel no matter where

your wedding takes place.

Green is such a sophisticated color that

works well any season, but looks ever so

magical in winter and late autumn weddings.

Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the

Pantone Color Institute, calls green, “a color

of growth, renewal, healing, unity and regeneration.”

We have paired these colors together in the

inspiration board. Our beautiful green

velvet furniture pieces, along with some

of our amazing accessories. Adding in

Lilac accessories makes the combination

rich, soft, romantic and beautiful.

Slate + Moss – Wedding Color Trends 2018

Not only will we see the color Moss

Green (dark green colour with a tint

of yellow) in dresses, rentals and

accessories. We will see moss as the

new greenery. A bold statement,

but we’re expecting to see moss

replace some of the lush and fluffy

greenery leaves that were prevalent

the last few years. Moss is beautiful

and it brings a certain fairytale

element to your wedding.

Slate gray is a gray color with a slight

azure tinge that is a representation of

the average color of the material slate.

As a tertiary color, slate is an equal mix

of purple and green pigments.

We have mixed our Moss colored

furniture with our grey and slate

furniture and accessories, love

these colors paired together.

Violet Pantone Color of the Year 2018

When it comes to wedding colors, there’s purple, then

there is Ultra Violet, Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2018.

This is a vibrant departure from Greenery (2017’s fresh

and organic Color of the Year). Ultra Violet is a deep,

blue-based purple—darker than lavender, cooler than

plum, but brighter than eggplant.

So how exactly do you incorporate this striking, regal

shade of violet into your wedding day? You can sprinkle

hints of Ultra Violet throughout your day to add depth

and color to anything from cake accessories, flower girl

dresses, florals and ribbons.
